About Vintage Vyse

Based in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, Vintage Vyse was born out of a lifelong love of quirky vintage fashion, honed in charity shops and carboot sales in the 80s and 90s

That passion for a unique style, later combined with sustainability ethics, and a growing dismay at the wastefulness of modern fast fashion, lead to the creation of Vintage Vyse: an online purveyor of upcycled and vintage clothing, as well as a smattering of vintage home decor, accessories, books and more!

Do you have a physical shop?

Afraid not, sorry! We're a very small business, so everything is sold online from our little place above the jewellers, but if you're out and about in the Jewellery Quarter, you might unknowingly walk past us!

Is the vintage clothing clean?

Oh, absolutely! Everything gets laundered with scent free laundry products (with the exception of items that can't be washed, such as leather, fur, etc), and repairs are handled by us too, so you get your items in as good a condition as possible. Sometimes there are flaws that can't be easily repaired, but the condition of every item is noted in the description of each listing.
