This period was when the Wartime Concentration Scheme was in full effect (as denoted by the A in the backstamp on the bases of the cup and saucer) which restricted decoration on pottery for only overseas markets, so would have seemed extravagant for the time!

Height (teacup in saucer)= 7.8 cm
Length of saucer= 20.5 cm
Max width of saucer= 14.2 cm

In great vintage condition- there are two tiny chips in this set; one on the saucer on the raised rim where the teacup sits, and another on the rim of the teacup itself (see pics). There is a mis-painting of gilding on the side of the cup (the N shaped mark in photos) and a tiny dot of green paint on the saucer near one flower bud. No wearing of the gilding on the cup, but some slight signs of wear to gilding on saucer.
